I like to create from nothing and everything. I have been creating art as long as I can remember. I began selling my art work 20 years ago, painting clothing. Then came a career as a faux finisher for 12 years in San Diego, California. I worked with several other artists to learn techniques for finishing walls, furniture, and anything that you could paint.
Lampwork is the method of using a torch to manipulate glass tubes, rods, stringers and frit. Fused glass is when you cut it into pieces (like stained glass) and arranged the glass into layers, you then fuse the layers together in a kiln. In another "firing" process you can bend, or slump the glass.
